Radiance MusicOpen beta

Like it. Save it. Split it.

A free music player for Android phones and Linux computers, now in open beta. Your songs saved on your device with their lyrics and videos, split into drums, bass, other and vocals right there, and shared to your stories.

Like it. Save it.

Search for any song and play it. Tap the heart and it's saved on your phone or computer, with its cover, its lyrics and its music video.

Saved songs play with no internet at all, and Home keeps a mix of songs like the ones you love.

Sing it, word by word.

The lyrics light up word by word as they're sung: big, in the middle of the screen, the line being sung brightest.

On the computer the background flows with the song's own colours, and moves with its beat.

Now Playing on a computer, the lyrics lit word by word beside the cover

Split it. Mix it.

Any saved song splits into its four parts: drums, bass, other and vocals. It happens on your own phone or computer; the song isn't sent anywhere.

Then each part has its own slider. Take the vocals out and sing over it, keep only the voice, or bring the bass up. On the phone, low cut, high cut and reverb shape the whole sound too.

Put it on your story.

On the phone, pick a song, or the lyric lines you can't stop singing, and it becomes a card made for Instagram and Facebook stories: the cover, the words, the song's name.

Share it from the app to Instagram or Facebook, or save it to your photos.

Send it by QR.

Show a QR code, scan it with another phone, and your songs go over with their parts, lyrics and covers. The other phone doesn't download or split anything again.

Phone to phone, or between your computer and your phone. Songs the other side already has are skipped.

Scan, and the songs come over with everything they have.

Get it. It's free.

No account, no ads, no subscription. Download it and it's yours.

On your phone

Radiance Music for Android

Point your Android phone's camera at the code and open the link. Or open music.radianceph.com/get/android on the phone.

Version 0.5.7, 208 MB. Android 10 or newer, on a 64-bit phone.

Your phone asks once to allow installing apps from your browser; that's how an app from outside the Play Store goes on.

On your computer

Radiance Music for Linux

Version 0.7.7, 5 MB. A 64-bit PC with Ubuntu 25.04, Fedora 42 or newer (GTK 4.14+, libadwaita 1.7+), GStreamer and yt-dlp; its install.sh says what's missing.

Windows is coming next.

Splitting songs on a computer

At least
2 cores, 4 GB of memory, 4 GB free space
Best with
4 cores or more, 8 GB of memory

A 4-minute song splits in about 3½ to 6 minutes; it uses up to 2.7 GB of memory while it works. The first time it opens, the app gets its splitter ready by itself while its sunrise plays; there's nothing to set up.

Yours, all the way.

Radiance Music is free and open source, under the GPL-3.0. It has no accounts and no tracking: your songs, your likes and your splits stay on your device. Anyone can read the code, and every version and what changed in it is on GitHub: the phone app and the computer app.
